Our client, world's leading supplier of Flexible Etched Circuits (FEC), is looking for its Facility Engineer / Assistant Facility Engineer, to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

To support the superior in day to day operation and to continually improve plant systems reliability, reduce maintenance cost and ensure compliance with applicable governmental codes and regulations, company policy and industry best practice to ensure all systems are working at optimal efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ongoing operation of various systems/projects in the plant such as A&A, Improvement, Fit-up and New production equipment installation. Supervising and directing electrical/ mechanical/ construction contractors on maintenance and projects
  • Project planning of major systems upgrades by determining requirements, writing specifications, obtaining quotations, and manage and monitor projects progress executed by company personnel or outside service providers 
  •  Ensure work carryout in the plant is accordance with EHS requirement and evaluate the Aspect & Impact condition of work under ISO14000 
  • Ensure maintenance work and checklist record is compliance to ISO9000 & ISO14000 standard.
  • Assist in implementing energy conservation program (Electricity & water) and represent the Company as the Certified Energy Manager to the authorities.
  • Manage a group of technicians to ensure work is complete on time. Provide continuous training for Facility Technician to enhance their skills on maintenance standards and procedure. Ensure equipments maintenance work performed by contractor are in proper order and operational condition
  • Maximizing the Facility equipments performance efficiency to allow the achievement of production output.
  • Assist in predictive, preventive and reliability maintenance program. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Air-conditioning, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Facility Maintenance & Management

Experience and Other Attributes:

  • At least 4-6 years experience in Facility & Project management.
  • Certified Energy manager would be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in power and control system, HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Condition);
  • Proficiency in the use of computer tools; 
  • Flexible, analytical and detailed oriented;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time;
