The Ops team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated System Engineer to deal with our high tech platform (Cassandra, Hadoop, Elasticsearch…) and a massive amount of information, logs and metrics, in order to store, process and use them. Helping us to define the right architecture for future services and bringing us your ideas and knowledge, you will build a strong sense of team spirit and cooperation with both Dev and Infra teams.

In particular, you will be required to:  

• Ensure the availability and performance of our production platform,
• Choose metrics and implement monitoring probes to get the most accurate view of our platform behaviors,
• Maintain existing infrastructure, plan and realize future evolutions,
• Orchestrate infrastructure delivery for new features,
• Provide advice to dev team to help them getting the most from our infra,
• Feed feedback loop with dev team to get production bug and performance issues fixed.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Degree in computer science or technology related degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience,
• Solid Linux experience (knowledge in Debian packaging is a plus),
• Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python, Ruby),
• Experience with at least one configuration management system (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt),
• Experience with at least one monitoring solution (Zabbix, Nagios/Centreon, Shinken, Munin),
• Network knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP),
• At least a technical level of English,
• Adaptability in a highly moving and fast growing environment.
