High Frequency Product Development Engineer

Our client, world's leading supplier of Flexible Etched Circuits (FEC), is looking for its High Frequency Product Development Engineer to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

  • Develop technological blocks and products in compliance with the HF and RFID roadmap

  • Based on the technical specifications provided by the customers, design antenna using CAD tool and analyze the design through electromagnetic simulation
  • Work closely with assembly team and prototype team to develop prototype for evaluation and samples to customers
  • Take charge of the technical exchange with partners (in module assembly, molding and singulation) to ensure product designed is compliant with manufacturing flows throughout the supply chain
  • Monitor technological evolutions in RFID industry (wearable electronics in particular) in order to develop an expertise on this product line and recommend/propose improvements on existing product


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electronics (RF or Communications)
  • At least 3 years of experiences in HF antenna, RFID or NFC development or field application support
  • Experience in RF equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, LCR meter, EMV Contactless bench, ISO Bench)
  • Good knowledge in RF impedance matching
  • Proficient in RF test & measurement techniques such as characterize of HF antenna with network and impedance analyzers
  • Experience in EMVCo and ISO test bench to optimize performance of HF antenna is added advantage
  • Familiar with at least one Electromagnetic simulation software (CST, HFSS, ADS, EMDS)
  • Familiar with at least one of the CAD software – Autocad, TurboCad, Altium
  • Customer oriented and ability to manage priorities in case of urgent business requirement
  • Responsive on problems, sets up solid action plan and ability to manage priorities in case of urgent business requirement
