Section Manager – APU Internal Quality (Wet)

Our client,  world's leading supplier of Flexible Etched Circuits (FEC), is looking for its Section Manager – APU Internal Quality (Wet) to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and drive for reduction in Customer complaint and Internal PPM (parts per million) reduction and develop Quality mindset
  • Monitor and control the application of the quality system 
  • Set strategy and action plan for PPM reduction and review daily/weekly/monthly to identify improvement
  • Initiate and facilitate QRQC for PPM and Customer complaints and propose action plans and follow through on effectiveness
  • Participate and carryout Lean Quality tool audits to identify gaps and action to follow up  to ensure sustainability of the system
  • Control and monitor indicators to ensure compliance of manufactured products
  • Participate in problem solving Quality projects and Redbin review and NC review to improve system
  • Timely review of controls and quality documents to comply with ISO requirements
  • Manage laboratory day-to-day activities and review analysis report timely to validate processes 
  • under control limits
  • Conduct audits of position to analyze points of non-compliance and implement necessary 
  • corrective and preventive actions
  • Manage meetings of non-compliance, monitor time spent and progress of actions undertaken
  • Ensure traceability of non-conformities, implement necessary actions of "Containment" and 
  • ensure that the analysis of the non-compliance causes has been achieved in the time required
  • Lead, train, motivate team, ensure appropriate staffing, competencies and activity requirements
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, including work schedules and facilities security of the entire team, and takes disciplinary measures required
  • Monitor implementation of safety and quality procedures by their employees to ensure compliance with the rules and standards

Qualifications

  • Degree/ Master of Engineering and Technology
  • Good data analysis skills 
  • Knowledge of Lean Thinking methodology
  • Proficiency in the use of Quality tools
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing process
  • Proficiency in the use of computer tools
  • Knowledge and respect of the QSE policy : its objectives, procedures and instructions
  • Diversified Engineering with minimum 5 - 8 years experience in production
