Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Manager of Talent and Culture to be the backbone of all things related to growing, retaining and supporting our stellar team. The Senior Manager of Talent and Culture will be integral in ensuring Network for Good continues to strategically grow and evolve its teams, benefits, policies, culture and professional development in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and plans. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leading the recruiting efforts in a high growth environment and skillfully managing employee culture and engagement. This position reports to the VP of Organizational Development.

Key Responsibilities:

Attract the right people: Directly manage the full life cycle recruiting process to recruit diverse, high-caliber staff aligned with organizational goals. Coordinate onboarding activities for new team members to ensure employees are set up for success 

Maintain and foster a culture of excellence: Navigate sensitive and challenging situations with respect and compassion for the employee and the organization; continue to foster Network for Good’s performance driven culture through focus on individual and organizational goals, accountability, and results. Drive company-wide programs and initiatives such as mentoring and professional development

Monitor and administer employee policies and compliance to regulatory concerns: Ensure adequate policies are in place that address both employee and organizational needs; stay abreast of employment laws and guidelines

Support benefit coordination and other department functions: Assist with functional activities such as payroll processing, benefit enrollment, benefit review, etc. Assist with ad hoc department activities as needed.

At all times, the Senior Manager of Talent and Culture must maintain the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee matters, records and organizational information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 6-8 years of direct experience in human resources, change management or organizational development

• Experience recruiting high performing teams 

• Strong network of industry and peer groups

• Strong understanding of employment law and interpretation of policies

• Empathic nature with stellar judgment, sensitivity and attention to detail 

• Stellar communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities

• An intuitive and empathetic instinct and a passion for human resources

• Strong leadership capacity and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

• Profession in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
