The Customer Service/Warehouse Representative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handling customer phone calls and emails, processing customer orders to be shipped to customers, and performing additional duties as assigned by the Customer Experience Manager.

Job Description

It is the responsibility of a Customer Service/Warehouse Representative to work as a responsible member of their branch team, to maximize sales and gross margin potential for the company, while observing the principals stated in Stellar's Mission Statement and Vision.

More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Customer Service/Warehouse Representative to:

1) Proficiently and efficiently handle the main inside sales functions to meet or exceed customer expectations:

a) Immediately address the customer, whether a call in customer or walk in customer and adeptly handle more than one customer at a time, when necessary

b) Return calls and quotes as soon as possible

c) Accurately enter quotes and orders using the P21 processes

d) Expedite all open quotes and sales orders with urgency and accuracy


2) Conduct yourself as a responsible Stellar employee and co-worker:

a) Understand Stellar's mission and vision

b) Display a consistent positive, can-do attitude at all times

c) Work as part of your team, supporting others in your department to meet our branch and company goals

d) Willingly help others in the company when called upon


3) Support Branch functions through accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse:

a) Accurately and efficiently pick, pack and process customer orders and transfers

b) Perform a variety of tasks including order filing, material handling, receiving goods and monthly cycle counts

c) Verify completeness of units against bills of lading, invoices, and other containers

d) Stock product in assigned locations

e) Operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move shipments in our out or around

f) 5S standards: process associated with sort, straighten, scrub, systemize, and standardize a work area

Qualifications

  • 2 years of customer service and/or warehouse experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational and data entry skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to stand/walk the warehouse for long periods of time
  • Must be able to sit and operate a computer for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs frequently; and 50lbs occasionally
