Summary & Purpose of the Function

  • Front line Sales role - 50% to 60%
  • Build, grow and manage Singapore team
  • Design and build out the complete strategy and business plan to develop the business in the APAC region
  • Become the future General Manager of the APAC entity

Your main duties will be as follows:

  • Work as a high level sales person for bringing new clients of the company and ensuring the right level of follow-up with Key Accounts
  • Prospect and approach directly potential clients in the region 
  • Negotiate with customers the product offering and business conditions and contract the deal 
  • Promote the company’s brand and expertise in the region through business events (conferences, exhibitions…)
  • Manage RFQ processes
  • Lead the final negotiations and close the deals 
  • Regularly analyse the company’s competitive environment and the sales results and take the appropriate measures in order to secure and increase the market share


Your main responsibilities with the customers will be to:

  • Understand customers’ strategy and build customer intimacy in order to anticipate market trends, identify potential new businesses
  • Develop genuine long-term relationships by building trust with executives and key decision makers at customers to gather the information required to understand their objectives and strategies, and position the company's offers
  • Be a reliable partner for customers and deal with their requests to give them effective support and develop a high level of satisfaction

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of sales and/or business development experience in a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of the airlines business models
  • A strategic mindset associated to a “hands-on” attitude
  • Ability to handle and manipulate figures 
  • Leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to develop and build strong commercial relationships with customers over the long term
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, be credible and have an attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
