Our client,  world's leading supplier of Flexible Etched Circuits (FEC), is looking for its Senior Regional Sales Manager to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

Reports to:   President Asia-Pacific

Summary & Purpose of the Function

  • Responsible for the development of the business in the region. Maximize our revenue and market share
  • Lead the Sales team and Field Application Engineer in the region

Main Duties

  • Manage and support to the Sales team in the region
  • Define the goals and strategies and implement the action plan of the team and the strategic development plan for the targeted accounts (margin targets, turnover,  market share in the different segments ...) in order to achieve the targeted results
  • Define and monitor the activity of the team to ensure compliance with the objectives, commitments and deadlines
  • Analyze the needs in terms of new product and define the sales forecast
  •  Negotiate with customers the product offering and business conditions and contract the deal 
  • Ensure the interface between customers and internal departments (Customer Service,Operations, Product Marketing, Quality) and request the development of new products in line with the market trends
  • Monitor and analyze the results in quantitative terms (turnover, market share ...) and qualitative terms (actions performed ...) to define action plans to increase the business
  • Understand and analyze our customer’s strategies and activities in order to anticipate market trends, identify potential new business (price, innovations, ...)
  • Gather information about the competitors (products, prices, sales strategies ...) to develop the relevance & competitiveness of our solutions


Main responsibilities with the customers

  • Understand customers’ strategy and build customer intimacy
  • Develop genuine long-term relationships by building trust with executives and key decision makers at customers to gather the information required to understand their objectives and strategies, and position our offers

  • Be a reliable partner for customers and deal with their requests to give them effective support and develop a high level of satisfaction


Main responsibilities with the team

  • Lead, motivate the team to ensure the adequacy of the department, in terms of size and skill level, requirements for their activity: Recruit, Develop the skill of their team, Supervise and evaluate the work of their team
  • Conduct annual appraisals
  • Share on the company’s strategy in order for each one to understand their contribution
  • Relays top down and bottom up communication, between management and the field

Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor in Engineering
  • More than  8 years experience in managing accounts in the field of semiconductors or electronic components or smart card
