Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals, developing and managing a strong sales team and building new relationships to accomplish profit and volume goals. S/he will maintain a book of business as a way to keep up with trends in the industry while contributing to the overall growth of the organization. This position reports to the Director of Sales and will train in the DC office the first 60-90 days.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of sales consultants 

• Participate in the recruitment and selection process of new consultants

• Maintain a smaller sales quota as a partial individual contributor

• Manage sales goals and manage metrics that drive results

• Track sales activity and provide sales projections 

• Achieve subscriber and revenue growth goals through improved sales performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management

• At least five years of sales experience 

• Proven track record of sales excellence

• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills

• Knowledge of the Internet and software application services, particularly e-commerce applications
