Job Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Product Marketing with the experience necessary to conceive, plan and execute initiatives that will maximize our product’s potential. Partnering with the product, brand, marketing and engineering organizations, the Head of Product Marketing drives customer insights, sets positioning and develops key messaging to ensure a consistent and compelling product communication.

With the ability to strongly impact the company, the Head of Product Marketing must have the skills to independently define and execute his own strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Articulate Blablacar’s value in the product through customer facing visuals and messaging;
  • Work closely with marketing on inbound campaigns to optimize conversion rates and user engagement;
  • Define and implement our CRM strategy;
  • Work with our data specialists to analyze user data and implement appropriate tracking to measure marketing success (conversions, engagement, etc.);
  • Manage a 4+ team in charge of product communication and localization to maximise the success of our product all over the world (15+ countries);
  • Collaborate with our local teams to conduct user, market, and competitive research to better understand Blablacar’s users and the competitive markets landscapes;
  • Adapt product communication to ensure cultural fit with each country.

Qualifications

  • Bac+5 (business degree, IEP, 3eme cycle, master, engineering school)
  • 8+ years of successful Product Marketing, Advertising, Marketing or web agency experience (consumer technology experience preferred)
  • Talented, curious, creative, and passionate about the web and its latest evolutions
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
  • Project management skills: can prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward
  • Understanding of brand development, including voice and visual branding
  • Cross-functional leadership: demonstrated ability to work closely with product, design, engineering, PR, communication and marketing teams
  • Proven ability to build and lead a team in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Fluent in English
