Building and maintaining our suite of sophisticated marketing products is the core responsibility of the Engineering team at HookLogic. Engineers must be creative thinkers who can design and deploy applications using the newest technologies to solve complex problems. As our client list grows, we are building new distributed large-scale systems and adding new features to our product suite. To keep pace with growth, we're hiring engineers with experience in all areas of the development stack.

As a Software Engineer I , you'll be a full stack engineer with varying responsibilities. Here are some examples of the projects you will be exposed to. 

• Create and maintain large-scale, robust, high-volume APIs used for delivering our Ads. 
• Build beautiful UIs with JQuery, AngularJS, AJAX or similar technologies to create a great user experience for internal and external users. 
• Integrate cloud technologies, specifically AWS services like ElastiCache, SQS, Redshift, etc.
• Participate in Hackathons that are held multiple times a year.

You'll have a strong educational background - a Bachelor/Master degree in CS or other technical/science/math—you'll use what you learned in your day-to-day work. You'll be well suited to work in a high-growth company and be able to adjust as new opportunities arise. You'll be able to speak to your experience working on high-traffic web applications or large scale data problems. You’ll also bring many of the following skills/experiences to our growing engineering team:

• Expert knowledge of OOP, algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Expertise in C#, Java, or other language(s)
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with distributed computing platforms
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases
