This is a unique opportunity for a talented photographer to help create and manage an extensive image bank for a fast growing, global, innovative, online business. Your important work will directly support marketing operations and brand goals.

The BlaBlaCar digital marketing team is one of the best in Europe (we are one of Facebook's top performing major accounts for example), and a smart, agile in-house marketing design process is a major contributing factor to that success. We use no advertising agencies - all our content is developed, and almost all is produced in-house, a key aspect of which is our exclusive, multi-local image bank! 

As we launch operations in more countries our image bank continues to grow and we are now looking for a talented individual to take full ownership of this. Working collaboratively with local teams, you will be the global owner of quality, consistency and effective delivery in our photography. Responsibilities will include: 

• art direct shoots around the world and manage third-party photographers (travel required)
• photograph and retouch shoots yourself when necessary (travel required)

• manage the structure, accessibility and delivery of the image bank for marketing ops in remote offices

• contribute significantly to management of our global Instagram channels

• Great photography portfolio to show
• Photoshop master and very fast retoucher with a strong understanding of colour balance and light
• Understanding of BlaBlaCar’s brand and the importance of photography in brand-building
• Strong understanding and knowledge of social media, especially Instagram
• Comfort working in a start up culture with a high growth/agile environment, a problem-solver with a can-do approach who embraces change and rapid work

• Global mobility: we are building a global company, and there are numerous opportunities to travel 
• Chef-prepared lunch daily, cost-shared by BlaBlaCar
• A lovely office space in Kentish Town, with a large kitchen/lounge area, games and instruments, weekly yoga classes and a delicious fruit bowl
• Off-site adventures: in addition to regular events during the year, we all go once a year spend 3 days in the alps together at a ski resort!
