Job Description
As a senior member of the marketing team, you will develop and execute a strategic marketing plan designed to acquire new customers to meet the revenue growth targets for the company. You’ll build, maintain, and continually improve the marketing engine that produces quality leads for our sales team. You’ll initially have two direct reports, with potential to add more as the company grows. Responsibilities:
• Drive and continually improve the current lead generation efforts, including webinars, e-mail marketing, list buys, PPC advertising, and content syndication to generate qualified leads (MQLs) and pipeline for our sales force.
• Continually find ways to improve creation and conversion of incoming leads, including new lead sources, better lead qualification, and more effective messaging. Use A/B testing to optimize response and conversion.
• Work with internal subject matter experts to develop content to fuel your campaigns; provide guidance on key themes and messages designed to resonate with different buyer personas.
• Build and manage the marketing demand generation budget, including negotiating vendor contracts.
• Champion best practices for driving the sales funnel, including lead nurturing campaigns.
• Closely monitor and report on campaign metrics and ROI, shifting marketing dollars as appropriate toward more efficient and effective programs.
• Work closely with sales to define and measure activity against marketing leads, monitoring pipeline opportunities as a key measure of marketing program impact.
• Manage lead nurture campaigns designed to move leads through the sales funnel; own the lead scoring strategy and lead elevation logic.
• Coach and develop direct reports, helping them build their marketing skills and advance their careers.

Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience:
• 5-7 years of demand generation experience, including creating marketing programs for B2B software solutions.
• Extensive track record of managing online marketing campaigns designed to generate high-quality sales leads and pipeline.
• Experience creating online campaigns customized for multiple buyer personas.
• Excellent communicator and strategic thinker who uses data to drive decisions.
• Experience managing, motivating and developing direct reports.
• Team player with the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Marketo and SFDC is a big plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business major or advanced degree preferred.
