Position Overview

DNN’s strength starts with our incredible ecosystem of vendors, partners, resellers, and engaged community members. The Ecosystem Relationship Manager plays a key role in maintaining and building our ecosystem by building partner relationships and shaping our online presence. In this pioneering position, we are looking for an exceptional individual to work cross functionally to own and execute on the strategy for our Partner and Reseller Channels, as well as, drive the operations and growth of our online marketplace for third party DNN applications. We are looking for a person that can combine strong online marketing, customer service, and business management to maintain these thriving ecosystem elements. 

 As our company and partner ecosystem grows, it will be critical to identify high-leverage projects that will help DNN scale to meet our partners’ needs to in turn drive revenue. You will be key to building our ecosystem to be more congruent and aligned with the company’s values and marketing focused product vision. Your core responsibilities will require you holistically manage relations with key external and internal innovation partners and manage business development endeavors. The successful candidate will play a key role reporting to the VP of Product and will directly influence and contribute to the short and long term vision for DNN Corp’s ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between internal and external stakeholders by collaborating with partners, vendors, and community members to evangelize our Evoq Product line and delight our shared customers.
  • As the DNN Store Manager, you manage the day-to-day operations, and engage with the community of module developers and vendors.
  • Provide awesome customer service by overseeing financial transactions, downloads, and resolve problems/complaints.
  • Help move the needle by actively identifying and new potential partners and product-aligned vendors, oversee their on-boarding experience, and manage the relationship from a high-level.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance functionality of DNN Store and Partner Portal and monitor and maintain site performance.
  • Drive awareness and viral marketing strategies via online marketing by managing our thriving online community. Incorporate web and social networking techniques to reach target audience, and engage with existing community.
  • Develop a trusted consultative relationship with targeted ecosystem members to drive channel and store sales.
  • Act as the “go-to” person between our Sales Department and our Partner Channel. 
  • Develop and implement go-to market strategies for our ecosystem for new product launches/releases.
  • Measure effectiveness of ecosystem development programs through reporting. Track and analyze store sales, and partner originated opportunities to understand and capitalize on buying trends and patterns.
  • Inspire store vendors and developers to build amazing Evoq modules that meet the changing challenges of our customers.
  • Ensure the systems, processes, and measures are in place to ensure the success of the marketplace ecosystem.
  • Ensure delivery of all supporting resources that enable the ecosystem

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required, exceptions made for individuals with direct experience in role.
  • Experience working cross functionally with sales, marketing, and product management teams.
  • Experienced online community manager with ideas about facilitating online conversation.
  • Highly Organized with the ability to make decisions based on analytics and reported data.
  • Proven track record of displaying initiative, self-motivation and delivery of high quality work.
  • Self-starter with agile and flexible approach to job duties.
  • Strong sense of “bigger picture” negotiation - contract negotiation experience is paramount.

Bonus Points

  • Experienced partner channel manager or similar business development experience managing complex external relationships across an organization and properly managing expectations.
  • Previous experience managing the day-to-day operations of an ecommerce site.
  • Proven customer service and vendor support expertise. Strong customer focus with success in driving customer satisfaction, feedback and reporting.
  • Established financial / business reporting / analysis experience and product management expertise.
  • Salesforce experience in record keeping, and creating reports.
  • Experience managing partnerships with start-ups.
  • Market Research experience.
  • Experience in Open Source.
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing Agencies.
