Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will join the Istanbul office to work with the Turkish team, and other BlaBlaCar Community managers based across Europe.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all of the interactions with the community across online and offline platforms such as social networks, phone, events, meet ups.
  • 1 to 1 management of BlaBlarCar’s power user community
  • Take part in our overall customer support & satisfaction, moderation, product testing and optimization operations.
  • Actively manage our social networks accounts on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter
  • Regular contact with our community to source case studies
  • Planning & execution of events in the region, including community and blogger meet-ups and press launches
  • Manage the response queue for all our users (BlaBlaCar offers a 100% response service)

Qualifications

  • Passion for BlaBlaCar and the mission of the company
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Turkish mother tongue + excellent command of English (written, read and spoken)
  • Deep understanding of community management: social networks, event organization and member relations. Previous experience in Community Management is a plus
  • Unwavering verbal communications skills in any situation
  • Excellent social skills 
  • Keeping your cool and sense of humour under pressure
  • Ability to work with international teams and quickly develop an understanding for the cultural differences
