Amotec Technology Solutions is working with a nationwide leader in the industrial and aerospace industries. Our client is currently seeking a Cabinet Builder that can work all shifts at their Wichita location.

• Read and interpret internal and customer blueprints with minimal assistance

• Figure/Compute basic dimensions from station, butt and water lines
• Process panels and small assemblies
• Apply and file laminate properly and efficiently
• Read, interpret and utilize shop orders/job packets without assistance
• Accurately identify and apply inserts and fasteners to panel applications without assistance

• Aircraft cabinet building experience preferred

• Intermediate to advanced carpentry, plumbing and electrical techniques
• Ability to exhibit mechanical and physical coordination
• Ability to read dimensions in decimals and fractions
• Understanding of the current and updated procedures/techniques for furniture constructions
• Ability to work well with others
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use both power and handheld tools
• Ability to climb, stand, bend, push, kneel, stretch and walk extensively
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• High School diploma or equivalent

All applicants are required to complete a background check and drug test.

Must be able to work all shifts (1st-5th)

Compensation: $22/hr
