Refinery29 is the cornerstone of fashion, beauty, and shopping for a new generation. Combining daily local newsletter editions and a website that serves as a global style hub, Refinery29 offers the only 360-degree source for shopping, exclusive deals, trends, beauty news, local hot-spots, and at-home sneak-peeks of fashion's finest. At Refinery29, great style isn't just a one-way obsession—it's a fast-changing world where readers talk, designers, brands, and shop-keepers engage, and great fashion influences everything.

The staff writer will work closely with the Senior Editor of Brand Experiences to create and refine long-form features that meet client goals while upholding Refinery29's editorial integrity and voice. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pitch, research, and write brand-integrated content for fashion, beauty, and entertainment verticals
• Interview talent to produce long-form features

• Work closely with the Editors and Project Managers to schedule and deliver content under tight deadlines
• Upload content to Refinery29, using our CMS

• Has a wide range of reporting and interviewing experience, particularly with high-profile talent — a fashion or entertainment background is preferred
• Able to work quickly and pivot content once receiving feedback for a quick turnaround time
• Is a team player open to guidance and suggestions
• Has a solid understanding of Refinery29's voice and brand mission
• Work well under pressure with tight deadlines
• Able to think creatively to accommodate luxury, tech, and non-endemic brands
• 3-5 years of professional writing and interviewing experience
