Job Description

NewsCred is seeking a Business Development Manager in New York City to develop, manage and execute on strategic partner enablement programs to ensure the successful launch and growth of partnerships within the NewsCred Partner Ecosystem. This position is responsible for the health, productivity and revenue generation of the partner ecosystem and reports to the Director of Business Development. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish productive relationships with NewsCred partners and proactively assess, clarify and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Define, develop and build partner enablement programs as well as all processes related to partner onboarding, implementation, scaling and tracking.
  • Work with partners to create, track and measure partner progress to revenue and strategic goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate the creation of co-marketing materials; create and implement training programs for partners and the internal NewsCred sales organization.
  • Establish on-going communication programs for all partners; maintain and update partner information, educate partners and internal teams on best practices and joint value proposition.
  • Proactively assess, clarity and validate partner needs on an on-going basis.
  • Work with Business Development team to establish and manage to KPI’s for partner ecosystem and partner performance.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Channel Management, Business Development or Partner Management.
  • Ability to articulate and evangelize the vision and direction of the NewsCred Partner Ecosystem.
  • Experience with both technology and social /media/ advertising industries.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with experience building and managing long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, high growth, dynamic environment.
