Job Description

R29 is looking for a Senior Sales Director with a proven track record of cultivating and scaling multi-channel digital business across core business categories. 

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and grow accounts with key advertising clients
  • Generate new leads
  • Act as a business specialist on behalf of your clients, strategically developing digital and mixed media solutions to suit their objectives
  • Work with account management, brand experiences and editorial teams to create innovative content programming platforms – including video, social, and events
  • Work closely with Account Management and Brand Experiences teams in pre and post-sale, to define client KPIs and manage campaign performance towards desired results
  • Work with management to develop effective sales strategies for continued site revenue growth
  • Developing proactive packages for category growth across accounts 
  • Stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends relating to their clients as well as the digital industry
  • Consistently brainstorm and innovate on behalf of Refinery’s tremendous growth
  • Conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities  
  • Be a leader within a dynamic organization and team 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Top performance record
  • Experience with marketing/web analytics is a huge plus
