Job Description

BlaBlaCar is looking for a Community Animator to join its Global Communication Team based in the HQ in Paris. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Global Communications, streamlining daily contact with all the local Communications teams based across Europe.

The main missions of the Community Animator will consist in: 

• Building & expanding networks of community influencers in all countries where BlaBlaCar is active 

• Maintaining regular interactions (on social media, on the phone, in real life) between BlaBlaCar team and community influencers 

• Making influencers active on our different social media channels and turning them into a key part of our community management strategy  

• Implementing community events organized by community influencers 

• Improving our communication toward the community, and mainge sure members are aware of all our communications actions

• Deploying pilots in countries for new community-based projects along with local teams, and scaling them globally 

• Gathering best practices from all countries, and diffusing them to the rest of the Communications team

• Training members of the local Communications teams on community-based projects

Qualifications

Mindset and Skills

• Global vision: you speak several languages, are widely-travelled and happy to travel for work, and will feel at home working for a multi-local company, and with a team distributed all over the world.

• Creativity: you are a confident and insightful content marketer, able to brainstorm and generate plenty of relevant ideas. 

• BlaBla: you bound with people very easily and can initiate a discussion with anybody. You love hosting events and making sure everybody is having a good time. 

• Hands-on approach: you will enjoy and excel in planning project meetings, as well as supporting the team in day-to-day execution.

 

Experience

• You have a similar experience in building and leveraging a community of members or customers 

• At least 3 year experience in a tech/mobile company 

• Writing effective and compelling copy for the web and social media 

• Transferable experience will be valued, if relevant

  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract: Full-time only
  • Location: between métro Blanche et Trinité, Paris 9ème
  • Salary: Depends on profile and experience
