Job Description

The Account Executive is responsible for managing inbound leads and cultivating a book of business across accounts. The ideal candidate is passionate, curious, detailed oriented, sees opportunity where they might not exist, and has experience in planning/account management at a digital publisher.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Generate new leads
  • Brainstorm with sales, marketing and editorial teams to help structure campaigns that make sense based on inventory and historic successes
  • Act as a business specialist on behalf of your clients, strategically developing digital and mixed media solutions to suit their objectives
  • Developing proactive and strategic packages for growth across accounts 
  • Stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends relating to their clients as well as the digital industry
  • Work closely with Account Management and Brand Experiences team in post-sale to ensure desired campaign performance 
  • Working closely with clients to ensure satisfaction on execution and performance 
  • Work with management to develop effective sales strategies for continued site revenue growth
  • Analyzing post-campaign data to evaluate performance, learn from and apply what's applicable for future success

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as digital sales planner, account manager or similar
  • Experience in building digital media plans is required
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with marketing/web analytics is a huge plus
