Job Description
You will be working closely with all the UK BlaBlaCar team in a fast-paced, fun, startup environment, with a mission to create great visual content for UK marketing, PR, events and local social media. You will also be part of BlaBlaCar's international content design team, coordinating weekly with the brand team, and the other regional content designers in 12 BlaBlaCar offices around the world, to share knowledge and resources across the company. You will be supported with global brand assets and guidelines but will also need to autonomously find smart solutions to specific UK market needs. Your design work will reach millions of people a month and help build both a strong member community in the UK and a global brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding and applying global brand guidelines to all content
- Solving market-specific design challenges
- Display advertising design (static and animated, desktop and mobile)
- Photo choice and research
- Printed material design
- Partner material design (emailing, banners, widgets....)
- Video editing for social media content
- Event photography and filming
Qualifications
- Design degree
- Minimum 2 years previous design experience, with a great portfolio to show
- Perfect Adobe CS, including Première and AE
- Native level in English
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment
- Strong understanding and use of Internet services and social media
- Collaborative approach: a team player
