Job Description

The Account Director is responsible for delivering superior client service for each advertiser, serving as the main point of contact for all post-sale communications. This role will be highly visible within the organization and candidates will need to be comfortable operating under pressure with strong problem solving and strategic thinking. The ideal person for this position will be extremely detailed with experience in project managing large projects and custom executions. The AD will liaison between internal departments to manage expectations and ensure that deadlines are met. The AD will also be responsible for driving the strategic planning of all large scale, up front commitments and highlighting success of campaigns for renewal conversations throughout the programs. 


Responsibilities:

  • Point person for all post-sale client communications
  • Act as right hand to sales rep for all campaign communication
  • Translating client goals into measurable KPIs, reiterating those back to the client
  • Working hand in hand with creative strategy on ensuring timely and thorough delivery of execution details
  • Own master campaign execution calendar and strategic visions for programs
  • Heavily focused on delivering superior customer service
  • Anticipating client and brand needs and providing solutions ahead of time
  • Proactive optimization suggestions through a deep understanding of client KPIs
  • Owns the success, both from a delivery and client experience stand point, for the campaign 



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4 -5 years’ experience in interactive media and advertising, ideally at a vertical/niche publisher
  • Experience in a client-facing role, comfortable handling client calls and communications directly
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high pressure
  • Able to oversee multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to converse with internal departments, as well as with clients/agencies
  • Must possess strong organizational and analytic skills
