Job Description

The Business Analyst has a proven track record in requirements gathering within an entrepreneurial environment where new products are being launched with new customer segments. S/he is a clear and articulate communicator who can advocate approaches to the team based on market learnings and customer interviews. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with business teams to understand customer problems and pain points as well as the opportunities for new revenue

• Perform market analysis (secondary and primary research) to evaluate products and enhancements to be built, looking for where Network for Good can be unique

• Identify and solicit customers and non-customers for feedback at various stages of projects and requirements to validate solution approach

• Write user stories based on business and customer feedback that can be implemented by technical development

• Serve as subject matter expert within the project team for the specific functions and features being developed

• Provide second or third-tier support for new product launches and feature upgrades when support and sales teams have questions

• Train internal staff on new products and features

• Management of production support as needed, including frequent review of issues, gathering business team input as needed, and work with technical team to prioritize and resolve

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience writing customer-centric and user experience-driven design requirements 

• Experience working directly with customers and potential customers on new product launches or significant feature upgrades 

• At least 3 years of requirements development experience within an Agile environment with a strong understanding of Agile roles

• In-depth experience with JIRA, pivotal or other tracking systems for management of user stories, tasks, and defects

• Experience using visual design tools for Wireframing when necessary (e.g. Visio, Balsamiq, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience/training

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com is highly desirable

• Experience programming in any language is a plus
