We are growing rapidly and looking for a Front-End Developer to join to our web team.  Many of our clients turn to Lextech to design and develop a complete mobile experience. We are looking for a person who will be able to straddle both mobile and web.  This person will need to be proficient with web technologies to create high performance, responsive applications and websites.

• Design and build instinctive mobile UI and feature functionality;
• Interface with APIs, JSON and RESTful web services to render content;
• Work with client and project teams to create simple, elegant, and innovative mobile and web experiences;
• Create high performance web experiences using page optimization, improved load times, and intuitive user experiences;
• Maintaining and designing complex web architecture;
• Building web sites using cross-browser/platform development strategies.

Skills and abilities:

• Professional experience working with web application development;
• Strong semantic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript experience;
• Building solutions using CMS (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, etc.);
• Comprehensive experience using front-end frameworks (i.e. Compass, Twitter Bootstrap, JQuery, etc.);
• Ability to change with the rapidly changing mobile landscape;
• A passion for making the web move quickly and responsively on mobile devices;
• Writing unit and end-to-end tests; and deploy code to AWS through Git;
• Java, Python, PHP and/or Objective-C skills are greatly appreciated;
• Working with CSS pre processors – SASS, SCSS, LESS.

Preferred Experience:

• One year experience in mobile;
• Working with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Ember, Node, Grunt, etc.);
• Experience working in LAMP, Java stacks or Django.
