Company Description

Our client, vendor providing Multi-Channel Customer Service Solutions, is looking for their APAC Regional Sales Director , to be based in Singapore to support their continued expansion. 

Job Description

Objectives of the position:

  • Own one or more vertical sectors
  • Develop and close new business opportunities in the region. 

This is a high touch role, predominantly focussed on direct sales, but with some elements of partner management and support.

It is 90% focused on new name customers, with a small element of account management.

Whilst there is a marketing function in place that will provide significant quantities of initial appointments, the role requires self-generation of opportunities too. 

The role is based in Singapore, with a requirement for significant travel and some potential for working from home.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 8+ years software sales experience in the Customer Services or Web Arenas
  • 8+ years in a purely new business role
  • 5+ years of direct sales to C level buyers
  • Strong record of achievement of targets

Desired Skills

  • Strong relationship manager - Develop and maintain trusted advisor status at C level in mid-tier corporates (SGD200m + turnover)
  • Self-management – able to work well in a small team without layers of management and support around them
  • Technically capable – able to use MS ppt, excel and word to a high degree of proficiency
  • Strong proposal writer – producing articulate and compelling content
  • Financially competent – capable of producing a meaningful business case quantifying the benefits to the Company prospects
  • Credible business consultant – able to review a prospect’s current business processes and identify where the Company could produce efficiencies
  • Good Presentation skills
