The Financial Analyst will play a critical role supporting the organization as the primary resource responsible for helping drive accurate analysis, budgeting, planning, forecasting and reporting for departments and functions spanning the corporate landscape. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record with a B2B technology company, preferably in an OnDemand/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model environment. 

This is a highly visible and complex role, since the candidate will be required to support and work with executives and users across the entire organization. The successful candidate must be extremely well organized, detail-oriented, quality-minded and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop formal budgets, forecasts and analysis processes to meet the requirements of management
• Proactively identify, design, and implement enhancements to existing planning processes and systems
• Drive continuous process improvement in reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities through automation, consolidation and quality improvement 
• Commission calculation and forecast (experience with Xactly tool is a plus)
• Monthly and quarterly reporting that highlights headcount and expense trends, and variance analysis
• Ability to recognize and implement process improvements and building scalable processes in a continually evolving environment
• Ad-hoc financial analysis (need to be comfortable working on large sets of data extracts and producing meaningful results)
• Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors and Investor presentations
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Make our customers successful!

Qualifications:

• Direct experience managing short- and long-term financial planning process
• Excellent financial modeling, booking and revenue recognition skills in a SaaS environment
• Ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes
• Results-oriented with ability to prioritize multiple objectives
• Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives 
• Ability to organize, evaluate and manage workflow
• Process oriented, but flexible around business needs
• Must be proficient at analyzing data 
• Financial planning system user experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Adaptive Planning and NetSuite software)

Requirements:

• 5-7 years applicable work experience
• Clear and accurate analytical and communication skills
• Extremely well organized with impeccable attention to detail
• Advanced financial modeling skills
• Proven business analysis experience
• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
• MBA is preferred
