Job Description

As an International Project Manager you will coordinate and put in place large scale service/product/business model changes projects.  You will report to the founders and work closely with all HQ departments (Communication, Product, Tech, Member Relations, Data and Marketing) and international communication country teams to ensure that those changes are welcomed by our community with love and respect.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying which service/product/business model change will require a strong coordination and communication support (Sync with Road Map, Marketing, Data, Product and Tech).
  • Analyzing KPIs and market behavior to define the timing and the market where the change will be deployed.
  • Defining the project roll out plan and managing it from start to end.
  • Coordinating the work of all HQ and international teams involved (Communications, Product, Tech, Member Relations, Data and Marketing) and ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Designing a communication strategy for getting members’ support prior to, during and after the change.
  • Helping guide members through the change by adding product education, elaborating communication messages and member relations pre-answers, and modifying those when needed.
  • Listening to members’ needs - organizing focus groups, events, monitoring social media and the press, and organizing calling campaigns.
  • Analyzing key KPIs to define next steps.
  • Creating weekly meetings and reports on the project’s progress and sharing it with all the stakeholders.
  • Documenting best practices.

  • Excellent Project Manager – you are able to make different personalities, departments and nationalities happily work together on a project and deliver on time.

  • Excellent organization, prioritization skills and ability to multi-task – you know how to prioritize and are on top of all the details, which make a large project succeed.
  • Excellent multi-cultural skills – you are able to adapt your attitude and the project specificities to different countries’ particularities.
  • Excellent strategic and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English – all your written communications will be in English (English native preferred)
  • Fluent in French and at least one more language (Spanish, Italian, Russian, etc...) 


Mindset:

  • International vision: you lived in different countries, speak several languages, and are happy to work with an international team.
  • Pro-active and independent, you need limited guidance to keep things moving forward.
  • Hands-on approach: you enjoy and excel in planning project meetings, as well as supporting the team in day-to-day tasks.
  • Adaptability: you are flexible and willing to explore new approaches.
  • Member oriented - you need to be able to put yourself in the member's shoes.
  • Data oriented: you are curious and dig into data before making a strategic decisions.


Experience:

  • 5 years work experience
  • At least 3 years of project management and/or communication role in another online market place start-up:
    • working on cross-functional/transversal/communication projects
    • coordinating the work of international staff across different countries and cultures
    • collaborating with tech and product teams
  • Entrepreneurial experience, a big plus
  • Experience developing communication strategies, a big plus
  • Studies: business, communications, marketing, other. Masters degree a big plus
